The Government of Catalonia Delegation to Germany, in collaboration with Catalonia Trade & Investment and Berliner Wirtschaftsgesprächen e. V., are organizing the webinar “Catalonia: A European Health Hub” to present the life sciences and healthcare sector in Catalonia. The event will feature presentations from Biocat Director of Science Policy and Internationalization Montse Daban, Barcelona Health Hub Communications Director Marja Huiskamp, Tech Barcelona Director of Associations and Public Relations Juan Baselga, and CataloniaBio & HealthTech CEO Javier Selva.

Schedule of activities
Johnson & Johnson, with JLABS (JLABS) and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), as part of the US Department of Health and Human Services, is hosting this event. The goal is to foster global debate among innovators, investors and KOL to discover and accelerate solutions to future pandemics, emerging pathogens and other known and unknown threats. Early stage companies can present a poster and there will also be 1:1 meetings between founders, investors and strategic partners.
Ferrer is hosting a session in Boston with business experts and representatives from European patients’ associations to explore new ways to interact with people living with rare diseases in Europe. The session will be interactive and geared towards companies in the United States interested in bringing new therapies to the European market.
The Government of Catalonia, ACCIÓ and Biocat, in collaboration with Alira Health, will host a networking event for any companies and professionals interested in building synergies, sharing knowledge and better understanding the North American and Catalan biotechnology ecosystems. Registration free of charge.
At booth 443 in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, ICEX will host a hospitality reception to promote networking.
Conference dealing with several topics in oncology, immunotherapy, biomarkers and experiential robotics applied to medtech, highlighting the importance of EU-US research collaborations. Participants will include representatives from the European delegations taking part in BIO. Companies can ask to join the panel discussions and/or have a demo table at the conference
MetroWest Life Sciences Network invites companies to attend the BIO Tour, giving participants more information on what the Boston ecosystem has to offer the life sciences and healthcare sector. The program will include a tour of the Sanofi/Genzyme facilities, a visit to Abi-Lab, one of the most important incubators in the area with over 40 companies, and an important cell therapy CDMO, Lykan. Registration free of charge.
