On February 17, 2025, the presentation of the 2024 BioRegion of Catalonia Report will take place in Barcelona.
The report, now in its 10th edition, has established itself as the most comprehensive and robust analysis of health innovation indicators and the international competitiveness of a strategic sector for Catalonia. The publication provides a comprehensive overview of the state and evolution of the ecosystem's main assets, reviewing macroeconomic indicators, business activity, investment, innovation, and research, as well as international comparisons that objectively position Catalonia in global rankings and help identify challenges and trends.
The event, which will feature prominent institutional representation, will bring together more than 600 professionals (from companies, startups, hospitals, institutes, research centers, investment funds, universities, administrations, and sector support agents) for presentations, panel discussions, conferences, and networking spaces.
Barcelona Health Innovation Week 2025
The BioRegion Report will kick off the Barcelona Health Innovation Week, from February 17 to 21, 2025, a week dedicated to innovation, acceleration, technology, and transformation in the health sector. From presentations, talks, debates, and webinars to networking activities: each day will feature various events organized by different BioRegion entities, showcasing the potential and impact of the life sciences and health ecosystem based in Barcelona.
