The Parc Cientific de Barcelona and ALBA Synchrotron are organizing a conference on 20 September to present the ALBA facilities and show practical examples of synchrotron light applications, in collaboration with Biocat. The conference will also explain how to access the different characterization tools available at ALBA.
ALBA is a complex of electron accelerators that produces synchrotron light that, due to its properties, substantially increases the detection and resolution limits obtained in conventional laboratories. X-rays produced at the synchrotron make it possible to determine the three-dimensional structure of matter as well as to study its electronic and magnetic properties.
