Barcelona Deep Tech Summit 2024

The Barcelona Deep Tech Summit returns this year, from November 5 to 7, 2024, at Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via Venue. This edition joins forces with the Smart City Expo World Congress, creating a more integrated platform to drive innovation in Deep Tech and urban development.

With the following strategic pillars:

• Inspire: The Barcelona Deep Tech Summit will unveil the leading trends in Deep Tech and their impact on today's society. Both experts and interested parties will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of how these emerging technologies are redefining the economy and social dynamics.
• Connect: The event will facilitate interaction among startups, corporations, research groups, and investors, creating opportunities for collaboration and idea exchange within the Deep Tech ecosystem.
• Showcase: Startups will have the chance to present their innovative solutions to investors and other key players, thereby promoting collaborations to address global challenges.

The Barcelona Deep Tech Summit 2024 will focus on finding solutions for four global challenges through conferences, panel discussions, workshops, and more. One of the main challenges is the energy transition, where sustainable solutions for energy generation, consumption, and conservation will be sought, along with emission reduction and mobility improvement, with a special focus on blue economy opportunities.

There will also be a strong emphasis on connectivity, analyzing the latest innovations in ICT, cybersecurity, 5G technology, and photonics, applied to telecommunications and high-precision sensors. Regarding industrial technology, Deep Tech solutions for Industry 4.0 will be explored, including the integration of artificial intelligence, human-robot interaction, and the Internet of Things.
