B·Debate - Reversing a dystopian future. New strategies to discover antibacterial agents

B·Debate is an initiative of Biocat and Obra Social "la Caixa". Its objective is to promote international meetings of high scientific level for the debate, collaboration and the open exchange of knowledge among experts of the highest national and international prestige in addressing complex challenges of high interest in life sciences. The discussions enhance the integration of different scientific disciplines.

This B·Debate, specifically aims to:

1. Offer an overview of the current research strategies

2. Identify the opportunities and challenges of the different lines of research

3.Debate how the future of the discovery of antimicrobial drugs will be

4. Identify the interventions that are currently being developed and which must be carried out in terms of policies to stimulate research in this field and apply measures to deal with antimicrobial resistance.
