Do you work or do research in medical technologies and digital health and would you like to build/open/start your own company? Do you want to know alternative opportunities to an academic career?
The course 'Claus per Emprendre en Tecnologies Mèdiques' will show you the personal experience of some of the leading medical technology and digital health entrepreneurs in Catalonia at the forefront of innovative and international companies.
Introduce entrepreneurs who will explain the successes, the failures, the problems and the satisfactions that undertake entrepreneurship in Medtech and digital health.
The course is aimed for students and young researchers and consists of 4 sessions that will be held on February 5, 12, 19 and March 4, 2020.

Session 1: MEDTECH ENTREPRENEURSHIP: OVERVIEW/ NEW TRENDS/ MARKET POSITIONING
The participants will know how the entrepreneurial spirit has shaped the development of medical technology. They will learn to detect good ideas and when and why it is worthwhile to turn them into a business. Attendees will know the main business models of the startup in Medtech and how they have been evolving in recent years.
