European Health Tech Innovation Week , sponsored by GIANT Health, takes place from 17-21 May 2021 and is five 1-day hybrid conferences and exhibitions across Europe's leading healthcare innovation regions: Barcelona, Berlin, Liverpool, Paris and Stockholm. The aim of the festival is to bring together the different technological innovation agents of each ecosystem to encourage business collaboration between startups, global companies, established SMEs, healthcare professionals, academics, administration and investors; to boost innovation and help accelerate the best projects in healthcare. The virtual / fully digital elements of the event enable robust collaboration and engagement for businesses around the world
European Health Tech Innovation Week-Barcelona
On May 21 it will be Barcelona's turn and Biocat, together with the Barcelona City Council and ACCIÓ, will highlight the capabilities of the life sciences and health ecosystem in Catalonia and, in particular, the HealthTech subsectors. The program will include the participation of Jordi Naval, CEO of Biocat, who will review the BioRegion's assets, and Montserrat Daban, scientific and international relations director of Biocat, who will participate in the round table Barcelona-Catalonia: A top ecosystem for health tech scale-ups in Europe.

> 10:00-10:45: Barcelona-Catalonia, a top European ecosystem for global HealthTech startups: practical information on how to access market opportunities in the BioRegion with local, regional and sectoral bodies.
> 12:30-13:00: What 's in it for you in the bioregions, a top European HealthTech Ecosystem: this conference will feature Jordi Naval, CEO of Biocat, who will review the assets of the BioRegion.
> 15:15-15:45: Barcelona-Catalonia: showcasing Health Tech Success Stories: three companies from the BioRegion (Doctoralia/Docplanner, Methinks i HumanITCare) will participate in this round table, where they will explain their success stories and what growth opportunities Barcelona offers.
