i4KIDS Pediatric Innovation Day 2024

The Pediatric Innovation Day 2024 is back for its fourth edition, taking place on September 27th in Riga, hosted by the Children's University Hospital of Latvia. This event serves as a meeting point for experts, clinicians, startup founders, and innovators from all over Europe in the field of fetal, pediatric, and maternal health.

Organized within the framework of the European project i4KIDS-EUROPE, the Pediatric Innovation Day 2024 will bring together all stakeholders involved in pediatric care to discuss the latest needs, challenges, and advancements. i4KIDS, created in Barcelona in 2020, is a pediatric innovation network that aims to foster the development of healthcare solutions for children. With the new European extension, the project aims to expand the participation of various European actors in the pediatric sector and improve competitiveness to optimize the innovative potential in this field.

The objective of i4KIDS-EUROPE is to:

• Analyze the state of pediatric innovation in Europe
• Understand the barriers faced by underrepresented actors
• Build an interconnected pediatric innovation ecosystem and ensure that child and adolescent patients are actively involved in the innovation process.
