The new Ignite·Health Barcelona program, organized by Biocat with the support of EIT Health, will kick off on September 1.
This intensive 4-month course is aimed at students, researchers and health professionals with the objective of establishing multidisciplinary teams guided by a group of experts who will evaluate the proposed solution and its business model through personalized mentoring. The course uses the Biodesign methodology, with which each team will develop a business idea based on an unresolved clinical need.
The training will be complemented by master classes on entrepreneurship, product development and market access, among others. The course will also include pitch training to prepare the presentations, as well as the participation of entrepreneurs who will explain their experience in the creation and growth of their startups (small talks).
