Applications for the Patient Innovation Bootcamp 2023, supported by EIT Health, are now open! This acceleration program aims to help patients and patient's families to start and develop innovative solutions that improve their quality of life. The Patient Innovation (PI) Bootcamp is delivered in a hybrid way, with two weeks of face-to-face stays in Lisbon and Copenhagen and online sessions delivered by Biocat from Barcelona. During the program, teams will validate their product, market, and business model and will be supported by e-learning materials designed to help patient and family teams develop and launch their devices, diagnostic tools, or digital health innovations.
From 18 to 22 September, Biocat and IESE will offer teams multiple virtual classes and workshops that will allow them to learn about the Catalan healthcare system, the reimbursement model, teamwork, how to raise capital, and basic notions of finance, accounting, and company valuation, among others.

If you are a patient, part of an association, or an informal caregiver and have developed an innovative solution to address a personal health condition (including diagnostics, wearable devices, telehealth, telemedicine, big data, apps, electronic health records, health information technology, personalized medicine, etc.) sign up for the Patient Innovation Bootcamp 2023. The deadline to apply for this program is 31 May.
