SCOPE Europe: Summit for Clonical Ops Executives will be held April 20-21 at the Fira InterContinental Barcelona. This hybrid format event, which can be attended both in-person and virtually, brings together leaders from specialty pharma, biotech and academic research to share best practices and discuss the new era of analytics-driven patient-centered trials. The event features two keynote sessions, interactive breakout groups, roundtable discussions and exclusive exhibits and networking.

Thursday, April 21 at 10:35 a.m., Biocat will moderate a round table about "Reimagining clinical trials: the digital transformation in Catalonia". The healthcare community agrees on the need to foster digital transformation throughout the entire healthcare value chain, including the framework for the clinical validation of innovative technologies, i.e., the evidence for real-world positive and significant health outcomes for patients and society. The final objective is to accelerate technology adoption, provide support for the validated ideas, and improve their market access. The session will share perspectives of actors connecting clinical research and industry in a comprehensive way and it will highlight the successful coordination in clinical trials key stakeholders in Catalonia.

Montserrat Dabán, Scientific Director and International Relations at Biocat, will be the moderator of this meeting that will feature speakers from the life sciences and health ecosystem. The participants are: Montserrat Barceló, Vice President Veristat, Xavier Cañas, Director of Clinical Trials Promotion and Development at Hospital Vall d'Hebron, Alessandro Monterosso, Director Digital Health Solutions at Alira Health  and Oriol Penon, Business Account Director at Asphalion.
