Biocat and the CataloniaBio business association are holding the first session in the 2016 season of Lessons Learned on 31 March at the Barcelona Science Park. Experts and professionals from the health and life sciences sector will participate in a session entitled: 'Models organitzatius a les bio-empreses i la gestió del canvi: Quines són les claus de l'èxit?' discussing the doubts that come up in moving forward with projects from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical arenas.

What do a biotechnology company that starts off with three people and an R&D unit with 300 have in common? What factors of human teams do investors value when analyzing an investment opportunity? What role do investors play in the evolution of the team throughout the development of a start-up? The answer to these questions and much more will be discussed in this session moderated by Ramon Bosser, managing partner and COO at Spherium Biomed, and featuring professionals like José Luis Díaz, director of Project Management GMD at AstraZeneca; Fernando Garcia, project director at TFS Develop; Eduard Diviu, CEO of Sagetis Biotech; and José Terencio, COO of Gri-Cel.

The Lessons Learned sessions are a knowledge and networking forum to allow professionals from companies in the life sciences sector to share experiences and reflections on different strategic areas of knowledge and the capacities needed to boost the competitiveness of biotechnology companies. Participants get the chance to meet, interact and network with other professionals and experts from companies and organizations in the sector, as well as getting answers to their questions.
