Business related to the health sector, and the capital investments required for it, are rapidly growing around the world. The private investor network Keiretsu Forum, the Barcelona Medical Association (COMB) and Barcelona Activa have decided to co-organize the 3rd edition of Barcelona Healthcare Investment Forum, to be held on 4 November.

Open call for project proposals

The Fòrum is a meeting for early stage companies planning new projects, or growth or expansion activities, that are related to biotechnology, medical devices, health services, or information technologies and that require up to €1 million in funding and potential investors. The call for proposals, which ends on 22 October, is open to all types of companies (not only official members or associates of the promoting agencies).

If you would like to submit a project, just fill out this form and send it to empresa@barcelonactiva.cat.

Judging committee

Once the call has been closed, a professional judging committee will meet on 28 October to select the best eight to ten projects, which will be presented at the Forum.

The companies chosen to present their projects will not have to meet any legal obligations nor pay any fees in order to present their projects or, in the case that they are chosen for funding, to receive the capital.

Connecting investors to companies

Throughout the day, there will be designated areas available for participating companies and investors to establish initial contact.

Date: 4 November 2010?
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Place: COMB • Events Room • Pg. de la Bonanova, 47 • Barcelona (Spain)
