6th MuscleTech Network Workshop on hamstring injuries
This initiative will bring together some thirty experts in muscle and tendon injuries in Barcelona
The sixth edition of the MuscleTech Network Workshop, which will take place on 13 and 14 October in Barcelona, will bring together more than 30 global experts to debate the results of medical research on treating hamstring injuries and its clinical applications.
MuscleTech Network —the knowledge and research-support network for muscle and tendon injuries promoted by Foundation FC Barcelona and the Leitat Technological Center— is holding this workshop in order to facilitate the transfer of technology, knowledge and applications, and to create new ways to boost cooperation among hospital and university research groups.
The two-day workshop will take a multidisciplinary look at research into hamstring injuries, taking into account various different viewpoints (surgery, biochemistry, molecular biology, traumatology, physiotherapy, etc.) The program features poster sessions and panel discussions, in addition to conferences on topics ranging from the epidemiology of these injuries to assessing hamstring muscle function and the latest trends in treatment. To finish up, the 6th Muscletech Network Workshop will conclude with a visit to a medical facility.
More information on the workshop and how to register is available on the MuscleTech Network website.
