Catalan companies can participate in the top biopharmaceutical partnering and investment event in the United Kingdom from 14 to 16 May at a special rate of £300.

BioTrinity 2013, the top biopharmaceutical partnering and investment event in the United Kingdom, will be held from 14 to 16 May in Newbury. This year they expect more than 80 delegates from investment companies.
Biocat, as a member of the European HealthTIES consortium, offers biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical technology companies in Catalonia the opportunity to participate in BioTrinity 2013 at a special rate of £600 (standard registration fee is £799). This special rate is for companies with R&D activities so sector-support and service companies are not eligible.
Under the framework of this event, Biocat and the consortium members will hold the HealthTIES Findings Seminar on 15 May at 2 pm. HealthTIES (2010-2013) is made up of four European regions and aims to boost innovation in medical technology and bridge the gap between research in this field and patient needs. The BioTrinity seminar will set the findings of the work carried out over three years in the context of EU funding and the work of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC). Companies from Catalonia and the other regions associated with HealthTIES that participate are eligible for an additional discount of £300. More information on how this rebate works is available here.
BioTrinity, organized by the Oxfordshire Biotech Network (OBN), also offers:
- Plenary sessions and panel discussions on venture capital and licensing
- More than 100 corporate and investment presentations by successful companies from the United Kingdom and other top European bioclusters
- Workshops, roundtables and seminars
- One-to-one meetings (EBD Group partnering system like at BIO-Europe)
Registration (deadline 14 May). To apply the £600 rate enter the code HTIE13-300 in the "Comments" field on the registration form.
