India is one of the first global manufacturers of generics and biosimilars and is the market where big European and American laboratories seek new partners to develop some of their production processes. In December 2010, ACC1Ó published the study Biotechnology in India: Its Policy and Normative Framework, about the legal and institutional framework of the biotechnology sector in India, aimed at Catalan companies interested in entering this market.
