Business opportunities and partnering: the sixth edition of Innovation Days

The sixth edition of Innovation Days will be held on October 5 and 6 at the International University Campus in Paris and will bring together businesses, investors, experts, academics and entrepreneurs in the life sciences industry (especially from the field of biotech, medtech and pharmaceuticals), to maximize networking and business opportunities. Biocat will be taking part in Innovation Days, which means that BioRegió members are entitled to a 20% discount.
Innovation is the buzzword of the conference. A series of talks will be given over the two day conference, focusing on new means of innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in one-on-one partnering meetings. There will also be workshops and networking spaces, to encourage participants to share their experiences, strategies for the global healthcare industry, and good practices in the sector.
One of the most highly anticipated events in the conference is the Innovation Prize, awarded in recognition of innovation and entrepreneurship for young start-ups (less than 8 years old) in the fields of biotech, medtech and e-health.
‘Innovation Days’ in numbers
During the 2014 edition of the conference, which was also held in Paris, there were over 460 attendees from 30 different countries, most from outside Europe. Around 1,000 partnering meetings were held, with the majority of companies were from the biotech industry, followed by participants from research institutions, academics and pharmaceutical companies.
More information on the program and the planned activities can be found at the event calendar.
