Call for disease proposals for La Marató 2012 and 2013
Through 17 June, the Foundation is accepting proposals for topics of future editions of the program.

La Marató de TV3 Foundation has opened a call for disease proposals for the 2012 and 2013 editions of this program, which aims to raise funds for research. Through June 17, proposals will be accepted from associations of patients and family members suffering from disease, research bodies, scientific associations and professionals in the healthcare field registered with the Catalan Justice Department’s Register of Legal Bodies.
Proposals will be evaluated by the Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Committee and then taken to the Board, which will have the final say on which diseases will be the focus of up-coming editions. Resolution of the call will be made public online at: www.tv3.cat/marato.
This is the fourth time the Foundation has held an open call for proposals. Those received in previous years helped determine the focus of La Marató held since 2006. La Marató de TV3 closed the 2010 edition with a record €8,735,103 in donations, and will focus this year on the regeneration and transplant of organs and tissues.
