Biocat has opened a new call to participate in The Investment Readiness Series- Israel Edition, an initiative that aims to bring together projects and companies from the BioRegion of Catalonia with Israeli investors.

The call, open through March 10, is geared towards companies in the biotech sector looking for seed capital or series A funding, and research groups and companies from the healthcare sector (medtech, biotech and digital health) interested in collaborating with accelerators, incubators or investors in Israel to promote their project or explore licensing options. The program is free of charge and allows more than one project per institution or principal investigator.

After the call is closed, Biocat will send information on the Catalan projects and companies to a group of Israeli venture capitalists, corporate investors, accelerators and incubators, who will make their selection based on their interests.

Finally, on May 10, the selected projects will meet with the investors, accelerators and incubators to open up contacts for possible investment at an event in Tel Aviv (Israel). The initiative is organized by Biocat and Inveniam, with collaboration from ACCIÓ.
