CIBER-BBN and Fenin celebrate the Industry-AcademyForum on Biomedical Imaging in Barcelona
A total of 14 research groups and 15 companies in Spain will present their technologies and needs to stimulate mutual collaboration.

The Biomedical Research Networking Center in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN), and the Spanish Forum for Innovation in Health Technology Fenin organize the Industry-Academy Biomedical Imaging Forum, the coming 10th of May at the Barcelona Science Park (PCB). This is a partnering forum that aims to address business and scientific interest issues and encourage direct contacts between researchers and business leaders to promote the identification of potential common interests and collaborations.
The presentation act will be led by Dr. Jesús Purroy, PCB Scientist director, Dr Ángel Lanuza, coordinator of the Spanish Platform for Innovation in Health Technology, and Dr. Pablo Laguna, Scientific Director of the CIBER-BBN.
The forum consists of a block of short presentations during the morning, where 14 research groups from universities, hospitals and centers throughout Spain, and 15 companies will present their technologies, interests and needs in biomedical imaging. The second block, in the afternoon, will include bilateral meetings between companies and research groups. There will be an on-line agenda, where people or organizations interested in requesting meetings can contact with participants prior to the forum.
