The sixth edition of Do Research!, a series of experimental workshops open to the general public organized by the Barcelona Science Park (PCB) with support from CatalunyaCaixa Welfare Projects and the Ministry of Science and Innovation, starts this Saturday at La Pedrera.
Once again, researchers from the Institute of Biomedical Research —located in the PCB— and the University of Barcelona will move their laboratory to this emblematic building in order to interact with families, young people and children, giving them the opportunity to participate in some of the experiments carried out at these institutions, with the same instruments and materials normally used.
The activity is free of charge and will be held every Saturday in November. The same workshops are offered for the educational community on weekdays at the BSP OpenLAB.
Upcoming workshops include Analyze DNA and track down a criminal!, Bacterial transformation and Building proteins.
