Ireland to host latest edition of BioProduction thanks to country’s investment in biopharmaceutical industry

Nearly €7.1 billions have been invested in the biopharmaceutical industry in Ireland, most of it in the past 10 years. This is one of the reasons why BioProduction 2015 will once again be held in Dublin, at the City West Hotel Conference & Event Center, as it was two years ago. The congress will take place on 14 and 15 October and members of the BioRegion of Catalonia, as Biocat is collaborating on the event, get 25% off fees using code CQ3531BIOCAT.
BioProduction brings together leading manufacturers of biological products in Europe and the world in order to review new aspects of large-scale biological manufacturing that have come up over the past year, like for example knowledge regarding new technology, process analysis, facilities design and systems to curb inefficiencies in the bioproduction process.
The program features four conferences and workshops, including three that are new this year dealing with manufacturing strategies, continuous manufacturing and managing knowledge through products and their processes throughout the lifecycle.
According to members of the organizational committee, the investment made to develop new biotechnology services in Ireland is attracting participants to the conference, who are also motivated by the ample opportunities to forge contacts with the top stakeholders in this constantly expanding industry.
