At six thirty on 8 September at the University of Barcelona Faculty of Medicine (Hospital Clinic), David Storkholm and Paul Natorp of Danish school KaosPilot will give a free masterclass on creative leadership for anyone interested in learning techniques and models of creativity and leadership for business.

KaosPilot is a world-renowned Danish school called one of the best design schools in the world by Business Week in 2008. This event, organized by the d·HEALTH Barcelona master in life sciences innovation and entrepreneurship (an initiative of Biocat), will give participants a taste of the Creative Leadership program led by David Storkholm, which is part of the training in the d·HEALTH Barcelona master.

David Storkholm, professional coach and leadership trainer, and Paul Natorp, entrepreneur with experience in innovation management, will analyze the role creative leadership plays in generating important, relevant results through passion and teamwork. This masterclass will feature speakers discussing the differences between conventional leaders and creative leaders in improving the innovation process.

The session is also an opportunity for those interested in doing the d·HEALTH Barcelona master, as KaosPilot is involved in two modules in the program. Of the two classes of fellows that have already graduated from this program, 100% still work in the health sector and two thirds are at their own start-up.

The masterclass will be held in the Aula Magna at the Faculty of Medicine (UB) and participants must sign up beforehand (free entrance), as spots are limited to the capacity of the room. The session will last approximately one hour.

d·HEALTH Barcelona seeks potential entrepreneurs

d·HEALTH Barcelona is an initiative of Biocat and an accredited master degree from the University of Barcelona. The program receives support from Sanofi and Fundació Banc Sabadell and collaboration from Mobile World Capital Barcelona and Danish school KaosPilot. Alongside other European programs in biodesign, d·HEALTH Barcelona is part of the Innovation Fellowship program under the framework of EIT Health, which allows fellows to do exchanges with other programs.

The application period for the fourth edition of d·HEALTH Barcelona, which will kick off in January 2017, is now open. The program is geared towards young people with degrees in business, design, engineering or the life sciences who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector. Admissions requirements are available on the website.
