The Fundació Escola Emprenedors, the Association of Biotechnologists of Catalonia and CataloniaBIO, with support from Biocat, is organizing the second introductory course to bioentrepreneurship entitled Keys to bioentrepreneurship in times of crisis on  8, 15, 22 and 29 May in Barcelona. The course, which filled all 70 spots in the first edition, is given completely in English.

This course is geared towards students and recent graduates in life sciences (biology, pharmacy, biotechnology, medicine, biochemistry, veterinary sciences and chemistry), masters students, PhD students and young researchers, giving them first-hand access to 14 of the top entrepreneurs in the BioRegion of Catalonia, who will answer questions regarding how to move forward with an idea or a business:

  • When is an idea really a good opportunity? How can I protect it?
  • What is the best business model to move forward with my idea? 
  • How can I put together the best team? 
  • Do I need funding? If so, where can I find it? 
  • Which are the main risks facing small companies? 
  • How do companies evolve? What should I be aware of in the future? 
  • What other information will I need?
