Last week before deadline for Ministry of Economy Challenges-Collaboration Call

January 28 is the deadline to submit proposals for the National R&D&i Program geared towards Social challenges, organized by the Ministry of the Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO). The aim of this call, with a budget of €548 millions, is to promote the development of new technology, boost its application in business and help create new products and services.

Specifically, this call hopes to grow the critical mass in R&D&i in order to continue seeking out solutions to the challenges laid out in the national plan, guide business activity towards innovation, mobilize private investment, foster innovative new companies, generate new jobs and improve the technological balance nationwide. Furthermore, in order to improve the competitiveness of the business fabric, the call also seeks to strengthen international leadership abilities in the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation System and among its stakeholders.

Submissions will be accepted from a wide range of stakeholders, including universities, research centers, companies, business associations, etc.
