The Euraxess Catalonia website coordinated by the Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) has been created with the aim of boosting Catalonia as a destination for researchers from all around the world and to promote mobility among Catalan scientists. Moreover, the site raises awareness of the strong Catalan R&D&i system internationally.
Euraxess Catalonia thus serves as a guide, providing up-to-date information for anyone interested in coming to Catalonia to work, and explains the necessary procedures to follow in order to find a job and settle down here. In this line, the website offers legal resources, information about scholarships and grants, certificate homologation and even tips for scientists and their families to help them get settled and find housing.
The new website is a member of the EU Euraxess network, which brings together more than 200 research centers and institutions from 40 European countries, and is defined as the site for researchers in motion. Euraxess is a joint initiative of the European Commission and the countries participating in the 7th Framework Program.
