Mylan and Mitelos reach deal to distribute therapy for complications of diabetic foot

Mylan and Mitelos have reached an agreement to begin distributing Zelium in Spain in the near future. This product is a therapeutic alternative to treat diabetic foot manufactured by Aurena Laboratories.
Diabetic foot is a serious complication that affects diabetes patients and in the advanced stages can cause infection, ulcers and destroy deep tissue associated with neurological issues and various degrees of peripheral vascular disease in the lower limbs.
The product, which will be distributed by Mylan, is a 100-mL sterile spray that limits water loss from the skin surface to keep skin smooth and flexible. It creates a protective barrier to protect both healthy and irritated skin, reducing friction and calming sensitive skin. At the same time, it protects cracked, dry skin in patients with diabetes.
