The deadline for abstract and poster proposals is 15 May
The Biotech Annual Congress 2014 (BAC2014), promoted by the Spanish Federation of Biotechnologists (FEBiotec) and organized by the Catalonian Biotechnologists Association (ASBTEC), will take place in Barcelona on 9, 10 and 11 July. Abstract and poster proposals can be submitted through 15 May.

This is the third edition of the congress, with three days of conferences, courses and visits to research centers and companies, including the Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG), the ALBA Synchrotron and the National Supercomputing Center (BCN-CNS), among others. FEBiotec highlights that Catalonia is the pioneering region in biotechnology in Spain, which is why it has chosen Barcelona to host this edition of the BAC.
BAC2014 coincides with the designation of 2014 as the Year of Biotechnology, which was proposed by FEBiotec and approved by the Congress of Deputies.
