After the success of the Clinical Trials on Alzheimer’s Disease (CTAD) congress second edition last October in Las Vegas (United States), which organizes the North American foundation Alzheimer's Drug Discovery, this year it will take place in a European city, Toulouse (Midi-Pyrénées), from 3rd to 5th November. Midi-Pyrénées is one of the most active regions in life sciences of France and it is part of the Southern Europe Biocluster (which Biocat is also part of).

This congress gathers the current leaders who take part in clinical rehearsals about Alzheimer to discuss new results, the development of new drugs and methodologies for the future (illness modifying results, biomarkers, impact on sanitary economics...). For the participants it is also a space where international researchers can exchange opinions and learn about new therapeutic and methodological tools to improve and reinforce its equipments in clinical rehearsal.

In the Scientific Committee, formed by twenty North American and European scientists, there is the neurologist Mercè Boada of the ACE Foundation, Catalan Institute of Applied Neurosciences of Barcelona.

Edition 2011 will be take place in San Diego (United States), also from 3rd to 5th November.
