Registration is now open to participate in the Barcelona Emergence Forum, which will be held on 10 and 11 April at the Palau de Congressos de Montjuïc, and is promoted by the European Transbio Sudoe project. The forum, which was first held in 2013 in Montpellier (France), aims to promote partnering and collaboration among businesses and research bodies in Spain, Portugal and France in the fields of human health and agrifood innovation.

The event hopes to attract between 150 and 200 people. Its program combines partnering meetings with various conferences and workshops grouped into two tracks: human health and agrifood innovation. These will deal with topics like biomarkers, e-Health, the global food chain and optimizing food processing.

Representatives from all of the members of the Transbio Sudoe project are expected to participate (nine beneficiary partners and more than twenty participating organizations from 8 European regions). Biocat is one of the nine partners of the project, and the other Catalan bodies participating are the Barcelona Science Park (PCB), CataloniaBio and the UAB Research Park (PRUAB). Under the framework of the Barcelona Emergence Forum, a day of internal meetings will be held on 9 April for project participants.
