The call INNCORPORA has been released in the Spanish National Printing Office (BOE) this week. Through it, the Ministry of Science and Innovation grants helps to companies, technological centers, technological innovation support centers, business associations and scientific and technological parks for the recruitment of technologists and an obligatory initial training for the accomplishment of R+D projects.

Loans at 0% interest and no guarantees

This new program budget is of 266 million euros for the period 2010-2012 and its objective is to promote business innovation in all Spanish autonomous communities. To be more precise, 264 million Euros are loans which will cover staff expenses (from the recruitment of the technologists and indirect costs). This loan is up to 100%, no guarantees and 0% interest rate. It has a maximum payback period of nine years (with 3 years of grace).

Grants for an Executive Master in Innovation

The remaining 2 million euros are grants to cover costs of the related initial training for the R+D project developed by each technologist. This training is an Executive Master in Innovation, which will be given by the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) and specially organized for this group. It is financed in its whole by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

The Master is a graduate blended-learning course. Its goal is to provide the future project manager with the necessary tools for the best R+D project development, among which we find subsidies, patents, quality, products and new sectors.

The call INNCORPORA is framed in the State Innovation Strategy (E2I) designed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation to position Spain in the ninth world place of innovation in 2015 and foresees to create 1,000 direct jobs in the industry sector.
