The Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) has opened its first call for applications for grants for the Official Master in Translational Biomedical Research. The institute will offer 10 grants endowed with €3,000 each. This study program is organized by the VHIR, affiliated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

Any university graduates enrolled in the Master are eligible to apply for the grants through 30 September 2014. However, applicants must have a grade point average of 2 or higher. The upcoming academic year begins on 13 October 2014.

This Master aims to train research personnel in translational biomedical research. In addition to allowing students to select the area of biomedicine on which they wish to focus their training and internship, it also gives them access to PhD programs. Thus, the program guides participants towards research as a professional career.
