Operational Plan for access to innovation in the Catalan Health System
This Operational Plan includes the ways and mechanisms to bring innovations to the Catalan Health System in a more agile way and, ultimately, be able to reach the entire population more quickly.
Currently, Catalonia shares an important ecosystem recognized at an international level through the quantity and quality of research, through its assistance processes and through six innovative companies, startups and spinoffs.
Given the obvious difficulties that these entities face when it comes to being adopted by the system that has helped them grow (SISCAT), the Department of Health has decided to create the Subcommittee for the Adoption of Innovation in the Health System, coordinated by Biocat and dependent on the Departmental Commission for Innovation and Transformation of the Health System.
The main objective is to orchestrate a system that allows for monitoring, recording, identifying, prioritizing and donating support to innovation developed in our country so that it can be optimally incorporated into health centers as well as in the systemic and integral sphere throughout the System. of Health of Catalonia.
Fruits of the Subcommittee's work is the presentation of the Operational Plan for access to innovation in the Health System of Catalonia, which includes the methods and mechanisms for access to innovation in the Health System of Catalonia and, ultimately, being able to reach the population as a whole.
The Plan has a special focus on speeding up the development and adoption of innovations that improve the health and well-being of the population, contribute to the development and social and economic progress of the country and are the most strategic, priorities for the system, so that the transformation and the most resilient fan.
