Would you like to participate with a booth within the Catalonia Health Innovation Ecosystem Pavilion?
If you are a startup in the life sciences and health sector with innovative and established technology and want to gain international recognition, now you have the opportunity to gain visibility at 4YFN, the key event for connecting with investors and entrepreneurs from around the world, which will take place in Barcelona from March 3rd to 6th, 2025.
Requirements for startups
The requirements that your startup must meet to apply for a space at the Catalonia Health Innovation Ecosystem Pavilion are as follows:
- The company must be recent, with less than 10 years of existence.
- It must be located in Catalonia.
- It must have a high technological component or disruptive innovation.
- It must present a scalable business model with high growth potential and oriented towards the global market.
- It must have a company tax identification number (proposals from self-employed professionals are not accepted).
- The team must have at least 3 full-time people dedicated to the project (some exceptions will be made for startups in the health sector).
- Companies that only offer consulting services, develop software for third parties, or only have a website with little activity are excluded.
Priority will be given to startups that meet the following criteria:
- Startups developing new therapeutic strategies based on personalized and precision medicine (e.g., gene therapy, genomic services/diagnostics, or in-vitro).
- Startups working on technology for prevention and diagnosis (e.g., predictive analytics, telemedicine, digital screening/diagnostics).
- Startups developing solutions and technology for integrated social and healthcare services.
How to participate?
Don't miss the opportunity to be part of one of the most important international events for your startup. Fill out the ACCIÓ form, select the "health" sector, describe your company, and apply for your booth. The call for applications is open from September 23 to October 14, 2024. The cost of participation with a booth or in the Catalonia Health Innovation Pavilion is €231.4 + VAT.
The 12 selected startups will be notified before November 30, 2024. The evaluation will be based on criteria such as the investment and financing plan (20%), the team (30%), technological innovation (25%), revenue and market reach (10%), and international scalability (15%).
