The presentation of the 2022 BioRegion Report took place on February 13, 2023. The document compiles the main innovation indicators and macroeconomic data on the life sciences and healthcare sector in Catalonia, updated in December 2022, including investment numbers.

The presentation of the Catalonia BioRegion 2022 Report took place on 13 February 2023. The event included the institutional representation of the Government of Catalonia, a presentation of the best indicators of the BioRegion and several round tables.
Published by Biocat since 2009, it is the official benchmark report for the sector, and in this edition included the collaboration of ACCIÓ, CataloniaBio & HealthTech, Farmaindustria and Fenin, as well as the companies Amgen, Esteve, Almirall and Alira Health.
This year, for the first time, it was held as part of the Barcelona Health Innovation Week (13-16 February), a week devoted to showcasing the innovations of the Catalan ecosystem through various investment, innovation and networking activities, some of which were European in scope.
Thanks to the support of the European BRIGHT for Europe program, we used the Blendology digital accreditation system, which made networking and contact exchange quick, easy and sustainable.
