7th edition of CRAASH Barcelona comes to an end with event during Barcelona Health Innovation Week
This event concluded the seventh edition of the acceleration program run by Biocat and CIMIT (Boston), reinforcing its commitment to accelerating projects and companies in the ecosystem to streamline their arrival to market

The CRAASH Barcelona Closing Event was the cherry on top of the latest edition of this acceleration program, during Barcelona Health Innovation Week. The event, held at Tech Barcelona Pier 07, brought together investors, representatives from technology transfer offices (TTO), former participants, mentors and professors from the program for an event marked by the innovation and collaboration in the healthcare sector in Catalonia.
The highlight was a pitch session, where CRAASH Barcelona 2024 companies (Airway Shield, Banting Labs, NeuRNAx Diagnostic, ONAkids, REGEMED, BrainFocus Labs) got to pitch their innovations to a panel of experts: Fadel Ha, solutions architect at Roche Diagnostics; Georgina Sorrosal, innovation and entrepreneurship director at the Barcelona Medical Association (COMB); and Albert Mascarell, CEO of BHV Partners and Debios Dx. Each company had five minutes to pitch their project, followed by ten minutes of feedback from the panel, who gave them advice and key tips for their market evolution.
The Closing Event finished off with a networking session on the Pier07 terrace, where participants shared their impressions and forged strategic connections in a more casual setting.
This event concluded the seventh edition of CRAASH Barcelona, reinforcing its commitment to accelerating projects and companies in the ecosystem to streamline their arrival to market.
