The aim of this matchmaking is to reaffirm the strong relationship between the EU and China and to boost cooperation
From 21 to 23 October 2014, Daniel Calleja, director general of the European Commission for Enterprise and Industry, will lead a trade and institutional mission to Chengdu (Sichuan, China), with the aim of promoting collaboration between European and Chinese companies.
During the mission, European cluster managers and members will have the chance to forge collaborations with Chinese clusters and access new markets, products and services in order to boost growth of their SMEs.
The mission will be carried out under the framework of the 9th EU-China Business Cooperation Fair, an event that in recent years has attracted more than 3,000 Chinese companies and held more than 10,000 bilateral meetings.
