More than 50 companies from the BioRegion to participate in 4YFN
<p>18 of them will have exhibitions in the space coordinated by Biocat along with ACCIÓ, Barcelona Tech City and CataloniaBio & HealthTech</p>
More than 50 companies from the BioRegion of Catalonia, the Catalan healthcare and life sciences ecosystem, have confirmed they will be participating in 4YFN. This event for start-ups will take place at Fira de Barcelona from February 24 to 26 in Barcelona, as part of the main global event for the mobile industry: the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
This year, 4YFN will have a new area just for healthcare: the Health & Wellness Hub, in Hall 2 of 4YFN. Biocat, with ACCIÓ, Barcelona Tech City and CataloniaBio & HealthTech, will have its own space in this area, coordinating the presence of 18 companies and organizations from the BioRegion: Aimentia, ALIMENTHIA, ALVUM, Aortyx, Biel Glasses, Clúster Salut Mental, Fundación DTI, humanITcare, Lactapp, Meyo, MJN NEUROSERVEIS, MOWOOT, Nixi for Children, PaperdropDx, QMENTA, Sequentia, The Patients Resource and WIVI vision. Some of these companies will pitch their projects at the Pitch Point in the Health & Wellness Hub on 26 February at 2:30 pm.
Some twenty other Catalan companies will also be pitching at the Health & Wellness Hub, and some will have exhibition spaces in other parts of the fair.
Plus, Biocat is jointly coordinating several activities with ACCIÓ, ranging from biodesign workshops to an exhibition on innovative healthcare technology at the ACCIÓ space in Hall 1.
Last year’s 4FYN event brought together 23,000 attendees, 760 exhibitors and sponsors, 670 start-ups and 950 investors. The program had more than 160 hours of content and 300 pitches from start-ups.
