Partnering and "Talent Day" at BIOSPAIN Barcelona 2023

The partnering system is now open to set up one-to-one meetings for BIOSPAIN Barcelona, September 26 to 28 at the Fira de Barcelona fairgrounds. The organization expects to see record numbers of meetings, in line with the great turnout of participants and companies. On the final day of the fair there will also be an event to match companies looking for talent with job-seekers.

BIOSPAIN is one of the most important European biotechnology events and one of the biggest in the world in one-to-one meetings. The previous in-person fair, held in Navarra in September 2021, saw 900 participants from 30 countries and more than 2,000 one-to-one meetings. This year the event expects to host some 4,000 individual meetings.
Registration for BIOSPAIN includes access to the One-on-One Partnering™ system that allows participants to identify potential partners with filters based on location, therapeutic area, type of company, development phase of their assets and registration information. The system is available as of July 17. It is important for participating companies to update their profiles and delegate availability, and start requesting and accepting meetings as soon as possible to make the most of the event.
Talent Day, the last day of the fair
Also, on September 28, BIOSPAIN will host Talent Day, organized in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Biotechnologists (FEBiotec).
This event aims to bring together companies who need talent and professionals looking for job opportunities. It features a free matchmaking platform to schedule short interviews, no more than 10 minutes, between companies and candidates. Human Resources professionals interested in taking part in this event can sign up for free with the code TALENTDAY23 and post up to three job offers on the matchmaking platform at no cost. This registration is only valid for September 28 and doesn’t include access to the general BIOSPAIN partnering platform.
In addition to meetings with candidates, BIOSPAIN Talent Day will also include a talk about transformative hiring trends in the biotechnology sector and a panel discussion on how to manage the transition to a professional career in biotechnology, with advice from experts on the subject.
