Telstar Puretech brand aims to become global leader in pharmaceutical water turnkey projects

A fusion of the experience and expertise of two international companies, one Catalan and one British. The Telstar group –based in Terrassa– and Puretech Process Systems –the water-systems division of the UK Gas Technologies Group– have brought together their synergies and complementary products to strengthen their position in the GPM water and pure-steam systems market for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
The result of this alliance is the new Telstar Puretech brand, which puts them among the few specialized partners that can manage complete water turnkey projects with their own technology.

Telstar is the only manufacturer in the world to offer integrated process solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries with their own sterilization, freeze-drying, contention and clean-air technology. With nearly 50 years of experience, the group operates in more than 100 countries and has production plants and technology centers in Spain, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands and Germany. They employ 850 people.
Puretech Process Systems is a leader in the British market, providing turnkey solutions to generate, store and distribute purified water. Some of their most prestigious clients include GSK, Astra-Zeneca, Schering Plough and Novartis. Recently, they have also begun to operate in Asia, specifically in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Korea.
