Gabriela Jiménez Valerio is the CEO of Angiotheragnostics. She has a solid scientific background in molecular biology and knowledge of business development. She also says that she has the ability to “identify innovation opportunities and provide society with new sources of value.
Angiotheragnostics is a project of the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) and the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) focused on developing new kinds of drugs and biomarkers to prevent therapeutic resistance to cancer. In fact, they are developing a first-class anti-cancer treatment with the patient selection biomarker to precisely choose who may benefit from a new therapy.
The entrepreneur participated in the last edition of CRAASH Barcelona, Biocat's acceleration program, which closed the registration period for this year’s edition in June. CRAASH Barcelona 2021 will begin next September.
