“It’s important to understand others’ points of view to become successful”

Onalabs was founded in Barcelona in 2016 by Elisabet del Valle and Xavi Muñoz, now the company’s COO and scientific advisor, respectively. Later, they brought in Josep Cardona as CEO and head of the bioengineering and management teams.

The company is currently developing three digital devices to monitor complex chronic patients hospitalized at home, athletes and people with diabetes. To accelerate development and commercialization, the company has launched three private investment paths: Onalabs Investment, the startup’s own investment vehicle, direct investors and on the international crowdfunding platform Crowdcube to raise a total of €1.2 million.
