Join TIRS Belgium Edition and connect with the Belgian healthcare ecosystem
The Investment Readiness Series (TIRS) – Belgium Edition is offering eight startups from the Catalan healthcare sector a unique chance to connect with key investors and corporate partners in Belgium.
The Investment Readiness Series (TIRS) – Belgium Edition, organized by Biocat with collaboration from Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), Agence Wallonne à l'Exportation et aux Investissements Étrangers (AWEX), ACCIÓ Belgium-Luxembourg and MEDVIA, will take place on December 9, 2024, in Bruges, just before the prestigious HealthTech Investors Summit (HTIS).
The 8 startups chosen to participate will get an exclusive opportunity to give a 10 minute pitch to investors, followed by 5 minutes for questions and feedback. Plus, the selected companies will get to go to a networking lunch and a personalized training session beforehand to polish their pitches. This training will help the companies be fully prepared so they can maximize their chances of success with the investors.

Sunday, December 8
8:00 pm – Dinner with the Catalan delegation (optional)
Monday, December 9
10:30 am – Introducing the collaborators
10:45 am - 12:45 pm – Pitches from 8 Catalan startups
12:45 pm - 1:45 pm – Networking lunch
1:45 pm – HealthTech Investors Summit (for registered participants)

If you are a startup in the healthcare sector in Catalonia (digital health, medtech or biotech) and want to take advantage of this opportunity, send an email with your company’s one pager and the subject line “TIRS-BE Startup Application” to Biocat Innovation & Business Development Project Manager Adrià Gómez Olivella (agomez@biocat.cat). The deadline for applications is October 21, 2024.
Additional perks

Conditions and cost
There is no charge to participate in TIRS Belgium Edition, however companies will have to cover their own flights, accommodations and, if attending, the networking dinner on December 8.
