The Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN) and the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) are organizing Spanish participation in the seventeenth technology summit to be held on 22 and 23 September in New Delhi. Spain is the Indian organizing committee’s main partner. Last year’s partner country was Germany. ICEX, CEOE, and the Spain-India Council Foundation are collaborating in the mission.

This technology summit is organized by the Indian Department of Science and Technology and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). The event will include plenary sessions, breakout sessions covering the three selected topics (renewable energy, biotechnology and water technology), an exhibit space, bilateral meetings and visits to top R&D centers in the area.

An institutional delegation led by the MICINN will participate in the event.

The CDTI promotes company participation in the event by offering travel grants. Companies interested in applying for this aid (€1,560 approximately) must fill out this form (in English) before 29 July 2011.
