One hundred companies and organizations from the BioRegion to participate in BioSpain 2018 in Seville
<p>Biocat is coordinating a pavilion at the event to boost visibility of the 14 Catalan companies</p>
About 100 companiess and organizations from the BioRegion have confirmed they will be at Biospain 2018, one of the most important events in the biotechnology sector, which will be held in Seville this year from 25 to 27 September. The BioRegion will have its own pavilion, coordinated by Biocat, right at the heart of the fair space.
Six Catalan companies will have their own booth in the BioRegion pavilion: Compliance Services, CSV Experts, DR Healthcare, Enantia, Grifols Engineering and Specipig. Plus, the BioRegion pavilion will also feature a shared meeting area where four additional companies will have extra visibility: Ability Pharma, Anaxomics, Capitall Cell, XRB (Xarxa de referència en Biotecnologia), IQS - CETS, Leitat, Molomics and Parc Científic de Barcelona
Another six companies from the BioRegion will participate on their own with a booth at the fair: Asphalion, Draconis Pharma, Genesis Biomed, Gesfilter, Innoqua, Kymos Pharma Services, Lead Molecular Design, Neumo, Terrmo Fisher Scientific and Tecnoproducts.

The Catalan delegation makes up 16% of all Spanish companies participating in the fair, which is held every two years in a different city in Spain. This year it is organized by ASEBIO and co-organized by the Regional Government of Andalusia
Various Catalan companies have signed up to pitch to the more than 60 investors who have confirmed they will be at the event. In addition to the company pitches, the preliminary program for Biospain 2018 features several themed sessions.
The latest edition, in 2016, brought together 800 companies (103 of them from the BioRegion), 1,800 delegates from 29 countries and 233 exhibitors. More than 3,000 partnering meetings were held, generating 720 technology offers.
Members of the BioRegion interested to participate can get 10% off the current Biospain rate for partnering pass (only applicable to non-ASEBIO rates) by putting “Biocat member” in the comments field.
