5 editions full of success stories
In 2022, CRAASH celebrated its 5th anniversary with an event bringing together past participants, mentors, and collaborators. The program, which launched in 2018, has achieved remarkable figures over the past five years: 41 accelerated projects, which have raised more than 21 million euros in investment and generated 77 new jobs.
Testimonials from different editions of CRAASH Barcelona are proof of this:
Alfons Carnicero, co-founder and CEO of Able Human Motion (2018 edition), explains that thanks to the program, his company was able to evolve their prototype into one of the most revolutionary exoskeletons on the market. Indeed, at 4YFN 2023 they presented the “lightest exoskeleton on the market”. We were able to talk to him in this interview.
Jaume Puig, founder of Biel Glasses, a techmed company that has developed smart glasses that allow people with low vision to get about independently without needing the help of a third person. Puig participated in the first edition of CRAASH Barcelona, and also volunteered to share his experience.
Ruben Molina, founder of Innitius, valued his time on the program very favorably as it allowed him to “explore the biggest markets in Europe and the United States with immersion weeks in the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Boston, where we were able to evaluate how different each of the markets are and which are the market drivers of each region”. You can read the whole interview here.
And finally, another project that went through CRAASH Barcelona (2019) was Flomics. “The program helped us to understand the market we were entering, identify all the players, and define the necessary value proposition for each of them. Within the project we completely changed our positioning. It also provided us with contacts that helped us break into the sector. Thanks to all this, we believe we are one step closer to success”, explains João Curado, founder of Flomics, in this interview.
